Abstract

In the world of organization and management, the concepts of influence, power, empowerment, and politics play an important role in decision-making, power dynamics, and human resource management. This article examines these concepts theoretically, identifies the relationship between them, and the implications in the organizational context. Using various relevant literatures, this article aims to provide in-depth insights into how influence, power, empowerment, and politics interact to form effective and productive organizational dynamics. The concepts of influence, power, empowerment, and politics are crucial elements in understanding organizational dynamics and individual behavior in the workplace. Influence is the ability to influence others, power relates to the authority held by individuals, empowerment includes empowering individuals in making decisions, and organizational politics describes strategic activities to maintain or expand power. This article develops a theoretical analysis with a descriptive qualitative approach based on scientific literature. This research also includes empirical analysis through interviews and case studies to illustrate the implementation of these concepts in organizations.
