Abstract
This study aims to understand how work consistency and commitment affect employee performance on a laying hen farm. Employee performance plays an important role in maintaining the continuity of farm operations and productivity. The two internal factors that are the focus of this study are work consistency, namely the ability of employees to work stably and regularly, and work commitment, namely the extent to which employees show dedication and responsibility for their work. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews and direct observation of employees at several laying hen farms. The results of the study indicate that employees who are consistent in carrying out their daily tasks and are highly committed to their work tend to show better performance. These two factors are interrelated and support the creation of a disciplined, productive, and sustainable work environment. These findings indicate that attention to aspects of internal work behavior is very important for farm management in an effort to improve overall employee performance.
