Abstract

This study aims to examine the dynamics of employee performance implementation and identify the factors that cause the unachieved work productivity at Renteng Banjar Sari Estate, Jember. A descriptive qualitative approach was used to gain an in-depth understanding of the real conditions in the field through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that low productivity is caused by a combination of internal and external factors. Internal factors include a lack of motivation, low education levels, and a heavy workload without adequate facilities. Meanwhile, external factors include weather conditions, limited work facilities, a weak supervision system, and ineffective communication between management and employees. In addition, there was also an imbalance between management's work planning and field implementation. Based on these findings, the researchers recommend the need for increased employee training, improvement of the evaluation system, and improvement of organizational communication to encourage the achievement of optimal work productivity.
