Optimalisasi Radio NBFM dalam Menyampaikan Konten Edukasi dan Hiburan yang Bermutu

Abstrak

Field Experience Practice (PPL) is a mandatory course of the Islamic Communication and Broadcasting Study Program (KPI) that bridges the theory and practice of broadcasting professionals. This study aims to describe the efforts of Radio NBFM Jambi to optimize the broadcasting function as a quality information, education, and entertainment media for the people of Jambi, as well as analyze the contribution of PPL KPI students to the operation and development of radio content. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data was collected through participant observation, in-depth interviews with PPL managers, broadcasters, and students, as well as analysis of broadcast and promotional documents. The results of the study show that Radio NBFM Jambi has succeeded in carrying out the broadcasting trifunction through relevant content, innovative formats, and competent speakers. PPL students are actively involved in the production of flagship programs (News Update, Morning Colors, Intips), script writing, research, audio editing, advertising production, playlists, and social media, so as to strengthen technical competence, creativity, teamwork, and broadcasting ethics. The PPL collaboration is mutualistic: radio gets fresh energy and creative ideas, while students gain real experience that strengthens their competencies and future career networks.
